Sport Physiotherapy
Sports Physiotherapy in Oakville
At Women’s Health Hub, Sports Physiotherapy is about more than treating injuries. It’s about supporting the people behind them.
We work with individuals who love to move. That might mean competitive sport, regular training, weekend games, or simply wanting to stay active without pain. Wherever you’re at, our focus is on helping you recover well, move with confidence, and return to the activities that matter most to you.
When you’re injured, it’s not just your body that’s affected. It can be frustrating, worrying, and sometimes overwhelming. Our role is to help you feel supported, understood, and confident again, not just in getting back to activity, but in trusting your body along the way.
Our Sports Physiotherapist provides hands-on, evidence-based care, combined with tailored exercise rehabilitation. We take the time to understand how your body moves, what’s contributing to your injury, and what you need to feel confident again. Our care is always personalised, empowering, and focused on your long-term wellbeing, not just quick fixes.
We support athletes and active individuals of all levels at our Oakville clinic, offering a space where you’re listened to and supported through every stage of recovery.
Our Approach to Sports Physiotherapy
-
Evidence-Based, Hands-On Treatment
Our sports physiotherapist uses a combination of manual therapy and active rehabilitation, guided by current research and clinical best practice. Treatment is always purposeful which is aimed at restoring movement, reducing pain, and improving function.
-
Exercise-Focused Rehabilitation
We believe exercise plays a central role in recovery and injury prevention. Your rehabilitation program is tailored to your sport, your body, and your goals, and may include progressive strengthening, mobility work, and sport-specific conditioning.
-
Individualised, Personalised Care
Your appointment is always one-on-one with an experienced sports physiotherapist. We take the time to assess thoroughly, listen carefully, and create a personalised treatment plan that supports both recovery and performance.
-
Treating the Cause, Not Just the Symptoms
Pain is often just the surface. Our assessments look beyond symptoms to identify contributing factors such as movement patterns, strength deficits, or load management issues, helping reduce the risk of recurrence and support long-term outcomes.
Meet Our Sports Physiotherapist
Mikayla Mantouroglou brings a deep love of sport and movement into everything she does. With a background that spans both healthcare and high-performance sport, she offers a thoughtful, well-rounded approach to rehabilitation and athlete support.
Over the past six years, Mikayla has worked in elite and semi-professional sport, including with the Western Sydney Wanderers (A-League Women) and the North Sydney Bears (NSW Cup Rugby League).
