Sport Physiotherapy
Sports Physiotherapy — Hills District and Hawkesbury
At Women’s Health Hub, Sports Physiotherapy is about more than treating injuries. It’s about supporting the people behind the movement every step of the way.
We work with individuals who love to move, whether you’re a competitive athlete, training regularly, playing weekend games, or simply aiming to stay active and strong.
Our goal is to help you move well, train effectively, and maintain confidence in your body, from the very start of your journey through every stage of development. Even before injuries occur, the body responds to the demands we place on it.
Our Sports Physiotherapy approach focuses on understanding how your body moves, how it adapts to training, and what it needs to stay resilient.
Through assessment, guidance, and education, we help you build movement awareness, strength, and control so you can train safely, optimise performance, and reduce the likelihood of issues as demands increase.
Our Sports Physiotherapist provides hands-on, evidence-based care combined with personalised exercise programs designed to help your body move efficiently, adapt to training, and stay resilient over time. We take the time to understand your movement patterns, strength, and load capacity so you can train and perform with confidence while reducing the likelihood of injury as demands increase.
Whether you’re preparing for a season, progressing in your sport, or simply aiming to stay active and strong, our care is tailored to support long-term wellbeing and sustainable performance.
We support athletes and active individuals of all levels at our Oakville clinic, offering a space where you’re listened to and supported through every stage of recovery.
Our Approach to Sports Physiotherapy
-
Evidence-Based, Hands-On Treatment
Our sports physiotherapist uses a combination of manual therapy and active rehabilitation, guided by current research and clinical best practice. Treatment is always purposeful, which is aimed at optimising movement, reducing strain, and supporting long-term physical resilience.
-
Movement & Performance Awareness
Beyond treatment, we help you understand how your body responds to training. By identifying strength needs, movement patterns, and recovery requirements early, we equip you to make smarter decisions around training, technique, and load, building a strong foundation that reduces future risk.
-
Exercise-Focused Guidance
We believe exercise plays a central role in recovery and injury prevention. Your program is tailored to your sport, your body, and your goals and may include progressive strengthening, mobility work, and sport-specific conditioning.
-
Individualised, Personalised Care
Your appointment is always one-on-one with an experienced sports physiotherapist. We take the time to assess thoroughly, listen carefully, and create a personalised treatment plan that supports both your current needs and long-term progression.
-
Treating the Cause, Not Just the Symptoms
Pain is often just the surface. Our assessments look beyond symptoms to identify contributing factors such as movement patterns, strength deficits, or load management issues, supporting both recovery and ongoing injury prevention.

Meet Our Sports Physiotherapists
Mikayla Mantouroglou brings a deep love of sport and movement into everything she does. With a background that spans both healthcare and high-performance sport, she offers a thoughtful, well-rounded approach to rehabilitation and athlete support.
Over the past six years, Mikayla has worked in elite and semi-professional sport, including with the Western Sydney Wanderers (A-League Women) and the North Sydney Bears (NSW Cup Rugby League).
Having grown up as an athlete herself and experiencing time on the sidelines due to injury, Mikayla understands firsthand how challenging and frustrating recovery can be. That lived experience is what drives her commitment to helping people feel supported, capable, and confident as they return to sport and movement.
Alicia Scoble is a dedicated physiotherapist with a Master of Physiotherapy from the University of Technology Sydney, supported by a Bachelor of Exercise & Sport Science from the Australian Catholic University. Alicia has extensive experience working with sports organisations, including Touch Football Australia, NSW Touch Football, and Softball NSW.

Both Mikayla and Alicia take a personalised, hands-on approach, ensuring your care is tailored to your body, sport, and goals. They focus on helping you move efficiently, train safely, and maintain long-term physical wellbeing.
